Art Scholarship
The Houston County Arts Council will award one (1) $500 scholarship for college expenses to a high school senior residing in or attending school in Houston County who is seeking a degree in music/music education or continuing their music instruction while attending college. A panel of judges will select the recipient of this scholarship.
Applicants must provide a video recording of the applicant performing one music selection. Video must be submitted along with application. Application may be emailed to: email provided on application by April 30, 2027.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: Application MUST be postmarked by April 30, 2027.
The Houston County Arts Council will award one (1) $500 scholarship for college expenses to a high school senior residing in or attending school in Houston County who is seeking a degree in fine arts. A panel of judges will select the recipient of this scholarship. In case of a tie, an interview may be requested. Applicants must provide photos of at least 5 of their pieces of artwork along with their application.
