What artists need to know:

• Set up will be Thursday, Aug. 21 from 1 to 6.  Artists are responsible for their own display. A limited number of tables and easels are available on a first come/first serve basis.  Art work must be picked up on Sunday, Aug. 24, between 4 and 5.

• Showcase hours are Friday and Saturday 10 to 4, Sunday 12:00 to 4.

• Maximum number of submissions per artist is five (5).  Please do not submit any art work previously submitted.

• Art work on paper must be framed or matted.

• All work submitted for display and/or sale must be original compositions.  No works copied from copyrighted material, imitations of paintings or works by other artist.

• Artist must clearly mark their art work if they wish to sell it.

• The facility will be locked outside of event hours, however Houston County Arts Council & volunteers are not responsible for the safety and security of submitted art work. 

• The HCAC Submission Committee has the final authority for approving exhibits and reserves the right to prohibit any person or group from displaying artwork.  Items generally considered craft items will not be accepted.

A VIEWERS' CHOICE award in both divisions will be given on Sunday.
Winners will receive a ribbon and a gift certificate to an area restaurant.
